The GreenCollar Think Tank works to advance discussion, research and action to help build solutions to environmental challenges. It is an alternative voice, committed to exploring new ways to bring environment and climate to the forefront of thinking among today’s leaders, thinkers and citizens.
Established in 2009, the Think Tank is an interdisciplinary not-for-profit group promoting discussion on environmental and climate change issues. The organization is based in Sydney, but holds events around Australia.
Over the past two years, we have organized multiple lectures and debates, with participation from world prominent policymakers, lawyers and business people. We have produced a number of issues papers and hosted online debates pondering important questions of the day around action vs inaction on climate change, green trade wars and the impact on climate change on particularly vulnerable parts of the world.
Some suggestions emerging from these debates have already been taken up and are making a difference. Others remind us of how much more remains to be done.
